Invites ONLINE applications from young, enthusiastic and dynamic Indian Nationals to fill the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):-
- Name of the Post_ Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
- Eligibility_ 10th/SSC/Xth/Matriculation or equivalent
- Desirable Qualification_ Intermediate/XIIth Class Pass
- Total Vacancies = 24
- Pay Level / Salary = 18,000 – 56,900/- + DA+HRA+TA+Medical/Travel, etc.,
- Age up to 25 years

Job Requirement:- कामाचे स्वरूप:-
- विभागातील अभिलेखांची (records) प्रत्यक्ष देखभाल करणे, विभागाची सामान्य स्वच्छता व निगा राखणे, फाइल्स व कागदपत्रे इतर विभागांमध्ये नेणे, फोटोकॉपी करणे, टपाल (dak) पोहोचवणे, विभाग/खोली उघडणे व बंद करणे, फर्निचरवरील धूळ साफ करणे इत्यादी. अधिकारी/पाहुण्यांसाठी चहा/कॉफी तयार करून देणे व पुरवणे, तसेच वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांनी सोपवलेली इतर कोणतीही कामे करणे.
- To perform physical maintenance of records of section, general cleanliness & upkeep of the section,
- carrying of files & documents to other Sections, photocopying, delivering the dak, opening & closing the section/room, dusting of furniture etc.
- Preparation & supply of tea/coffee to the officials/guests and any other work assigned by superior officers
SYSTEM OF SELECTION:-
- A Competitive Written-Exam shall be conducted for all provisionally eligible candidates.
- The final Merit List will be prepared only on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written-exam.
- Resolution of Tie Cases-Resolution of cases wherein two or more candidates have scored equal aggregated-marks,
- The tie shall be resolved-as under in accordance with the CSIR Letter No. 5-1(211)/2014-PD dated 30.05.2023:-
- Candidate with lesser negative marks, if applicable, in the papers of Written-Test placed higher;
- Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher;
- Candidate acquiring essential degree earlier placed higher;
- Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appear;
EXAMINATION & SYLLABUS:-
- OMR Based or Computer Based Objective type Multiple Choice Examination.
- The questions will be set in both English & Hindi except the questions on English Language.
- Standard of Examination = Class 10th.
- Total Number of Questions = 150.
- Total Time = 2 Hours
SYLLABUS:-
- General Intelligence = 25 Questions (75-Marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude = 25 Questions (75-Marks)
- General Awareness = 50 Questions (150-Marks)
- English Language = 50 Questions (150-Marks)
- NOTE:- 01 negative mark for every wrong answer
Document Verification:-
- Before the issue of Offer of Appointment, the candidates will be required to produce the Originals of the documents uploaded with Online Application Form as well as any other documents as may be specified by CSIR-NCL, failing which their candidature is likely to be rejected.

- Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate/Birth certificate ONLY as Proof of Date of Birth
- Caste/Category certificate (wherever applicable) / Certificate related to PwBD (wherever applicable).
