DRDO-Research Centre Imarat (RCI) a premier laboratory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO invites online applications from young & meritorious Indian Nationals for the Engagement of Apprentices (Graduate, Diploma & ITI Trade) for a period of 1 year details;-
Apprenticeship Training Category – Qualifications:
- Graduate Apprentice:- BE/BTech (in ECE, EEE, CSE, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Safety, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Instrumentation Engg,)
- Vacancies = 50.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma):- (Diploma in ECE, Instrumentation Engg, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Safety Engg)
Vacancies = 30
- Trade Apprentice ITI (NCVT / SCVT):- ITI in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, COPA Draughtsman Engg (Mech), Grinder.
- Vacancies = 115
Eligibility for All:- The candidates who secured 70 % / CGPA 7.5 or above in the qualifying examinations (Graduate, Diploma & ITI trade, for the years 2022, 2023 2024, 2025 & 2026), are only eligible to apply.
Selection Process:
- Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit / Interview as required,
- verification of the documents.
- Shortlisted Candidates will be informed via E-mail.
- Shortlisted, Candidates are required to bring Original & Self-attested copy of documents;-
- Duly filled Application Form.
- NATS / NAPS profile printout.
- 10th class Mark sheet and certificate.
- Consolidated / Final Mark sheet of Qualifying Exam.
- Original / Provisional Certificate of Qualifying Exam.
- Caste Certificate (if applicable).
- PWD Certificate (if applicable).
- Valid EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Any Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India like PAN Card / Voter ID / Driving License.
- Aadhaar Card (Mandatory).
- Copy of Aadhaar Seeded Bank Pass Book /Statement
- [Note: It is mandatory to have Aadhaar Seeded / linked Bank account].
- Medical fitness certificate issued by a Govt Civil Assistant Surgeon.
- Two latest Passport size photographs
Selected Candidates have to produce valid Police Verification Certificate either from their place of last residence (for at least past 1 year) or permanent address at the time of joining.

- Registration of B.E / B.Tech / Diploma candidates on NATS 2.0 portal https://nats.education.gov.in & ITI trade apprentices on https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in is mandatory.
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma candidates may apply by logging into portal https://nats.education.gov.in by selecting Research Centre Imarat, DRDO. Enrolment ID: STLRAC000010.
For ITI Candidates;
- ITI trade candidates may apply by logging into portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in by clicking
on ‘Apprenticeship Opportunities’ and by typing in ‘Search by Establishment Name’ with ‘RESEARCH CENTRE IMARAT’, DRDO. (Establishment ID: E05203600040) & click Apply after choosing your respective trade - The last date for receipt of online application is 30 days from the date of publication of Advertisement in News Paper.
