Age Limit for SBI Apprentice Training:-
- The Age must be in Between 20 – 28 years
- Minimum 20 years & maximum 28 years
- (as on 01.08.2023)
- ie. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both days inclusive).
- Upper AGe / Age Relaxation is applicable as per Govet. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
Eligibility & Qualifications for SBI Apprentice Training:-
- Any DEGREE
- (Graduation – as on 01.08.2023)
SBI Training Duration:
- The Apprenticeship is for 1 year
- (12-Months Duration)
Stipend & Other Benefits of SBI apprentice Training:
- The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/– per month.
- For the engagement period of one year
- The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
BENEFITS:-
- The Weightage / Relaxation to apprentices in recruitment of Junior associates shall be given as per recruitment policy of the bank as amended from time to time.
- Weightage / Relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates will be given to the apprentices who will successfully complete the Apprenticeship training.
- Successful completion of Apprenticeship training refers to passing of skill evaluation test (Trade test) & Obtention of joint National Apprenticeship Certificate jointly issued by SBI-NSDC / BFSI-SS.
The SELECTION PROCESS of SBI training:-
- Selection of apprentices would be basedon;-
- 1. online written test &
- 2. test of local language
SBI Apprenticeship Exam Syllabus/Main Tpoics for Online Test:-

* – Except for the test of General English, Test questions for Written-Test shall be set in 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu , Urdu in addition to English & Hindi Language as per Table in notification.
- Negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
- 1/4th of mark for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2. Test of local language:-
- The specified local languages of the states are as mentionedin Para A of the Official Notification / Advertisement.
- Candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, & understanding) in any one of the specified local languages.
- The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process.
- It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination.
- Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
SBI Apprentice Exam Centers are available in all States in India.

Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit.
