National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT)
invites applications, on behalf of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY),
from eligible candidates for filling up of Scientific & Technical Posts inNational Informatics Centre (NIC).

Salary / Pay:-

• Scientist_B = Rs. 56100/- – Rs. 177500/-
• Scientific/Technical Assistant = Rs. 35400/- – Rs. 112400/-

Age Limit for NIC Jobs:-

• Age Limit up to 30 years
• Upper Age relaxation:-
• For SC/ST = =35 years
• OBC = 33 years
• PwD = 40 years
• Ex-Sm = as per Govt norms

Selection Process of NIS Recruitment 2020 computer engineering govt jobs ece engineering government freshers jobs:-

• The selection system consist of two stages;
• “WrittenTest”
• “Interview”
• (For Scientist-B)

Only “WrittenTest” for “Scientific/Technical Asst” Post.

• The Examination shall be of 3 hours duration
• (in English Medium Only)
• (Objective Type & OMR Base)
• The Question Paper will consists of 65% questions from Technical area
• 35% Questions from Generic Area
• Total 120 Objective Type Questions
• Consisting of 78 Questions from Technical(Computer-Sc) & 42 Questions on Generic.

What is Generic Area Questions?

• The Generic area will comprise of;-
• “Logical Reasoning”
• “Analytical REasoning Capabilities”
• Quantitative & Qualitative abilities”
• “General Aptitude”.
• Every question will carry 1 mark & there will be negative marking 0.25 mark for each wrong answer

Qualifying Marks for NIC Exam?

• General/Ews = 50%
• OBC = 40%
• SC/ST/PwD=30%
• Reservations applicable as per Govt norms
