INTELLIGENCE BUREAU. Govt of India Recruitment Notification of Security Assistants.

• Description of the post/ Name of post:- Security Assistant/Executive
• Classification:- General Central Service, (Group ‘C’) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Pay scale Rs. 5200-20200/- with GP of Rs. 2000/- + plus admissible  Central  Govt. Allowances.

IB Recruitment 2018 Qualifications / Eligibility:-

• Matriculation (10th class pass) OR equivalent from a recognized-Board of Education, and
• Knowledge of any one of the local language (State Language) / dialect mentioned in Table ‘A’
• Desirable;- Field experience in Intelligence work.

Age Limit for IB Recruitment 2018 security assistants:-

• Not exceeding 27 years
• Upper age limit:-
• 5 years for SC/ST &
• 3 year s for OBC
• For Widows / DivorcedWomen / (who are not married) General= 35 years.
• Widows / DivorcedWomen/ (Who are not married) SC.ST=40 years
• For ex-servicemen as per the Govt. Instructions
• The age limit is relaxable up to maximum 5 years to the meritorious Sports-persons.

• Candidate hasto appear in Tier-I Exam
• On the basis of their performance in Tier-I exam, candidates would be shortlisted-for Tier-II & Tier-III exam
• There would be cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I exam as under:
  UR-35, OBC-34 & SC/ST-33
• All candidates appearing in Tier-II exam would be provisionally admittedin Tier-III exam, ie. interview/personality test
• Tier-II examination will be of qualifying nature.
• Candidates would berequiredto obtain minimum 20/50 marks so that their marks in Tier-III
• The date, time & centre of Tier-II & Tier-III would be intimatedto the successful candidates through E-mail in online application
