Technician, Trade Apprentices and Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice
(Technical and Non-Technical) at its Locations in States of India:
(Tamil Nadu& Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana).
Applications are invited from candidates having qualification & other parameters for engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act.
There are THREE Categories:-
- Trade Apprentice
- Technician Apprentice
- Graduate Apprentice
- Trade Apprentice for the candidates of ITI
- Technician Apprentice for the candidates of Polytechnic Diploma
- Graduate Apprentice for the candidates of DEGREE (BBA/BA/BCom/BSc)

Technician Apprentice Diploma Branches:-
- Electrical

Graduate Apprentice/Accounts Executive:-
- BBA

Passing:- 50% Min. marks in aggregate & 45% Min. for SC/ST/PwBD
Age Limit for Apprentice Training:-
- Minimum 18 years & maximum 24 years
Upper Age Relaxation:- - For OBC-NCL = 03 years
- For SC/ST = 05 years
- PwBD = 10 years

Selection Process of Apprenticeship Training:-
- The Selection shall be on the basis of marks in the Online Test & eligibility criteria.
- The Online Test will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) of 4 options, with 1 correct option.
- Assessed on parameters/sections:-
Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist) &
Technician Apprentice: (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics):
- Technical Acumen in relevant discipline
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Abilities
- Basic English Language Skills
Trade Apprentice – Accounts Executive /Graduate Apprentice (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.):
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Abilities
- Basic English Language Skills

Candidates are advised to register as a Technician/Trade Apprentice online in the following portals under the respective State as per their Trades;-
- Trade Apprentice – ITI at http://apprenticeshipindia.org/candidate-registration
- Technician Apprentice – Diploma at https://www.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenunew!registermenunew.action
Trade Apprentice – Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice:
The candidate will need to provide non-engineering graduate enrollment ID
immediately after joining (after the candidate’s login ID is generated by IOCL).
The candidate should have the scanned copies of self-attested photocopies of the below documents ready in pdf/jpg format (not exceeding size of 200kb) for applying online;-
- 10th std/SSC /Matriculation certificate & marksheet as proof of Date of Birth.
- Marksheet & Certificate/Degree or Provisional Certificate/Degree
- Qualification-ITI/Diploma in Engineering/HSC/Graduation(as applicable)
- Caste certificate in the prescribed central format, if applicable.
- Caste validity certificate (applicable only for the state of Maharashtra)
- PWD certificate in the prescribed central format, if applicable
- EWS certificate in the prescribed central format, if applicable
- Cancelled cheque/Front page of Bank account passbook
- PAN Card
- Signature in black ink. (file size should be less than 50 Kb)
- Recent colour passport size photograph (file size should be less than 50 Kb)
Other Requirements:-
- Candidate to register themselves as an Apprentice with appropriate authority of the respective State against which they are applying.
- You need to register at Apprentices – Apprentice Registration.
- Candidate should have a PAN Card.
- Candidate should have an Aadhaar Card.
- Candidate should have a Bank Account & Cheque Book with their names printed.
STIPEND:-
- Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act.
